Acceptance of Terms

By using FSBO.ca, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the platform.

Account Usage

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • Use your ForSaleByOwner.ca credentials to log into FSBO.ca, or vice versa, for seamless access.
  • Maintain accurate account information and comply with verification processes for enhanced features.

Listing Rules

  • Listings must be for non-real estate items for sale; rentals are allowed but real estate for sale is prohibited.
  • Provide accurate descriptions, photos, and pricing within your plan's limits (e.g., 10 listings for Lite User, 120 listings for Power User) .
  • Prohibited items include illegal goods, weapons, counterfeit products, and any images not acceptable for a classifieds website, such as obscene or inappropriate content.

Payment Terms

  • Plans (e.g., Lite User $2.99 for 1 Month,Power User $14.99 for 1 Month or $143.99 for 1 Year) are billed as one-time charges at sign-up. 1 Month purchases last 30 days, and 1 Year purchases last 12 months; accounts stop working after the duration unless the user initiates renewal. Renewal must be manually initiated by the user.
  • Payments are processed securely via credit card; once the payment is made for any duration, there are no refunds.
  • Sellers on ForSaleByOwner.ca receive a free 6-month Frequent User account with real estate listings.

Liability

  • FSBO.ca is not liable for transactions between users; all sales are at your own risk.
  • We reserve the right to remove listings or suspend accounts for violations.
  • Disputes should be resolved directly between users or through legal channels.
